Q1. What kinds of person are most suitable for cryolipolysis?
Cryolipolysis is suitable for those with local obesity (or a skin-fold thickness of at least 2.5 centimeters) or those who want to build better body shapes.
Q2. Is cryolipolysis inapplicable to patient with a skin-fold thickness of less than 2.5 centimeters?
Cryolipolysis is still applicable to the patients with a skin fold thickness of less than 2.5 centimeters. However, the treatment effect is less obvious since the adipose tissue is already very thin in these patients. Therefore, patients must be made aware of the truth so as not to hold an unreasonable expectation towards the treatment effects.
Q3. How long does a course of treatment take?
A course of treatment generally takes about 1 hour, depending on the size of the treatment area.
Q4. How many courses of treatment should a patient receive? What is the treatment result?
Under advanced cryolipolysis technology, treatment temperature can be flexibly adjusted to treat adipose tissues with different thickness, so that the patient could always see an obvious effect immediately after just one course of treatment. For patient who pursuits for perfection, 3 courses of treatment is recommended. Under professional doctor's assessment, the treatment may be provided depending on the adipose thickness and patient’s physical condition.
Q5. How long does it take to see the treatment result?
Since cryolipolysis technology is a non-invasive treatment to reduce fat, it often takes one month before you see any obvious result. Please drink 1,500 cc of water each day for the purpose of fat metabolism.
Q6. What is the exact interval between any two cryo-lipolysis treatments?
For the purpose of fat metabolism, it is recommended that you wait for a while before receiving the next course of treatment. Of course, please consult a doctor for the exact time interval.
Q7. How long does the treatment effect last?
Provided that your weight is controlled at a certain level, you can maintain the treatment effect by taking proper diet and regular exercise.
Q8. How long is the recovery period for cryolipolysis?

Q9. Is there any side effect for cryolipolysis?
After treatments, patients may experience temporary reddening of skin around the treated area. Since it is a perfectly normal reaction, please wait patiently for a few more days before it fades away. The recovery period may be longer for those who have sensitive skin.

For woman who gave natural birth, please wait for additional 3~4 weeks before receiving cryolipolysis. For woman who received caesarean section, please wait for additional 4~5 months before receiving cryolipolysis. Of course, always consult a professional doctor before receiving these medical treatments.
Q11. What is the exact interval between liposuction and cryolipolysis?
Receiving cryolipolysis after liposuction has been a very popular way to reduce fat. Liposuction is aiming to reduce deeper adipose tissue while cryo-lipolysis is aiming to reduce shallower adipose tissue. Therefore, a dedicated machinery is always used right after liposuction treatment to create a beautiful body shape. After liposuction, it is recommended that you wait for another 6~8 months before another session of cryolipolysis. Of course, always consult a professional doctor before doing so.
Q12. Can a patient take sauna after receiving cryolipolysis?
Since cryolipolysis does not affect a patient’s daily routine, plus a sauna steam bath could increase body’s metabolism, it is acceptable to take a sauna after receiving cryolipolysis.
Q13. Can the cryolipolysis be applied to the patient’s face?
There is currently no clinical experience in applying cryolipolysis to the patient’s face. Since facial skin is relatively thin with large nerval network, it is not recommended to apply cryolipolysis to the facial skin.
Q14. Will the uterus be affected by low temperature if cryolipolysis is applied to a patient’s stomach?
